I thought the protector would be noisy when sleeping on it. Nothing but cool quiet sleep. We recently purchased a memory foam mattress, which usually gets very warm where you are laying and has a very soft top layer, which I hate. I was waking up every night sweating from overheating because it was so uncomfortable. I also think the memory foam in the mattress was making my skin itch. Let me tell you, this mattress cover fixed all three of these problems! It is so good. From now on I will never buy a cheaply made protector or mattress. Now we will save money to get a better more natural mattress next.
